The British Prime Minister saved his seat.
This Monday, June 6, British Conservative MPs were called to vote on whether or not they want to oust Prime Minister Boris Johnson, weakened by months of holiday scandals in Downing Street during the confinements.
The Prime Minister won the vote with the votes of 211 MPs.
To remain in office, Boris Johnson had to obtain the confidence of the majority of the 359 Tory MPs, or 180 votes.

The festive parenthesis of the platinum jubilee celebrating the 70 years of reign of Elizabeth II barely closed, her 14th head of government found himself on an ejection seat due to the affair of the holidays in Downing Street during the confinements, revived at the end of May with a devastating report detailing the violations of the rules enacted in the face of Covid.
Events came to a head on Monday morning when the chairman of the Conservative Party's 1922 committee, Graham Brady, announced that the fateful threshold of 54 letters from MPs, or 15% of the parliamentary group, demanding the departure of Boris Johnson had been reached.
Thanks to this victory, Boris Johnson cannot be targeted by another motion of no confidence for a year.
However, his authority risks being considerably weakened.
