At about 0:00 am today (10th), the third team of the West Kowloon Stormtroopers was patrolling through Palm Tree Street, Tai Kok Tsui, and found a Lexus private car parked on the side of the road. The male driver was suspicious.
Soon after the car drove off, it turned right to a light on Yanjia Street near Tong Mei Road. Officers took action to intercept it and seized more than 30 bags of suspected cocaine in the car at the scene.
The male driver was arrested on suspicion of "drug trafficking". It is reported that he is 39 years old and has a background of the gang "He Shenghe".
Police are now investigating the source of the drugs.
