The psychopolitical upheaval that befell us between only-not-bibi and only-bibi destroys the ability to intelligently find our way, that is, to stand on our own two feet.

It harms our being a sovereign public, a ruler over its life and reasonably immune from mind-stealing and emotional maneuvers.

This bipolar collective syndrome is a psychosis, a detachment from reality between Netanyahu's figures as a "super villain" or a "king of Israel," who acts on politics like a huge pump: emptying people's minds of ideas and values, worldviews and practical plans.

It converts all of these into secondary elements within the so-called "essence", which is nothing but a quasi-political, emotional and superficial kitsch theater.

The bottom line of this syndrome is simple: deep and dangerous confusion between the main and the secondary.

The main responsibility for cultivating what can be called "Netanyahu Syndrome" rests on the shoulders of Netanyahu's and the Likud's opponents in the political, media, legal, military and business systems.

They cultivate it because of frustration at the prolongation of Netanyahu and the Likud's rule, without seeing its end (a phenomenon that provokes opposition in itself in a democratic regime), and at its successes since 2009. Jealousy is a strong force of nature, His reign for many years.

But the Likud and Netanyahu at its head are not responsible for "Netanyahu's syndrome."

Their responsibility lies solely in a propaganda focus on his personality.

For many years, the Likud has been built publicly only around it.

This is not a healthy situation for a democratic party.

Despite the internal democracy that Yitzhak Shamir instilled in the Likud in the late 1970s, in recent years the Likud has in some ways resembled the dictatorial "parties", which are nothing more than electoral businesses owned by people like Lapid, Lieberman and Gantz.

The Likud is different, of course, and is still a democratic stronghold of class politics.

But over the years, Netanyahu's overwhelming superiority has undermined his democracy and the growth of a worthy leadership that can succeed him, even though the deadline for his succession is near.

This process of increased personalization of Israeli politics was one of the main initiatives in Netanyahu's domestic policy.

He was one of the promoters of the law for direct election to the prime minister's office, for example, and recently tried to bring him back with the help of a prime minister. The political debate in the election, we do not know,

For example, how the Likud proposes to rescue us from the malignant draw and political instability.

Will he stick to his infamous relative-national election method as his obscene habit?

Its leaders promise to deal with the anti-democratic takeover of the justice system by the judiciary in Israel.

But this is a much more general crisis, in the whole regime.

Did they give their opinion, for example, on the connection between the electoral system and the domination of jurists?

After all, the relative-national electoral system weakens politics in its two authorities, the legislature and the executive, thus paving the way for the domination of jurists.

The lack of a substrate sowed fog even in foreign policy.

Two and a half months after returning to power, Netanyahu delivered the two-state speech in Bar-Ilan but did not bring the matter to the Likud institutions.

In 2017, on the other hand, the Likud Center announced an aspiration to apply the law in the territories.

About two years later, the "Century Plan" was presented, which included both the application of a law and a division into two states ("minus state").

What is the Likud's position?

Without a platform - we are only supposed to trust Netanyahu.

And so on: What will be the Likud's rule from a socio-economic point of view?

Will it resemble the Sharon-Netanyahu government in 2003 and expand social inequality, or the Netanyahu-Kahlon government before the last election chain and reduce inequality?

The Likud has an opportunity to answer these questions in the election campaign,

And in doing so, help with the detoxification of personalization, of the "Netanyahu Syndrome" that is affecting us all.

The Likud and its leader have a part in its development, so the responsibility for the correction rests with them as well.

Were we wrong?
