After a two-year break, the Oktoberfest in Munich will start in about two months.
The anticipation of the Oktoberfest landlords is great.
Munich – The countdown is on.
With their first pre-Wiesn event, the Munich Wiesn hosts have started the hot phase.
In the Seehaus in the English Garden they presented the official Wiesn-Wirte-Krug on Monday evening.
And also took the opportunity to send a signal for more climate friendliness.
"The jug should focus on happiness," said Peter Inselkammer, host spokesman.
Oktoberfest 2022: Wiesn-Wirte-Krug available for just under 30 euros
In the center is a brisk Oktoberfest waitress carrying a bunch of beer mugs.
Based on the baroque way of life, the artist Rudi Skukalek (52) has depicted all 14 beer tents and the wine tent with a typical symbol on the mug.
For 29.99 euros (44.99 euros with lid) it will be available in the festival tents.
Information on how to order it now is available online at: www.wiesnwirte.de.

Oktoberfest 2022: Wiesn landlords set an example against the energy crisis
Christian Schottenhamel announced the most important news of the evening: “We Oktoberfest landlords are doing without radiant heaters in the beer gardens this year.
We don't even set them up so that nobody is tempted.” With this, the hosts of the Oktoberfest want to send an important signal for more climate-friendliness in times of the energy crisis.
They are also trying to position themselves more regionally overall.
Otherwise, one thing in particular resonated: the joy of the Oktoberfest is great.
And economics officer Clemens Baumgärtner assured: "There are no signs of a cancellation!" The city, the Oktoberfest city councilor, the economics officer and Oktoberfest boss are behind the Oktoberfest.
