(ANSA) - CATANZARO, 14 OCT - A wave of bad weather hit the Alto Tirreno Cosentino area late yesterday evening and in particular the municipality of Tortora.
A violent storm has created considerable inconvenience and severe damage due to the flooding of roads and homes and since this morning the Sapr Calabria core (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System) of the Fire Brigade has been in action to monitor the areas affected by the flood.
There are currently no injuries to people.

Mud and debris have invaded the streets of the town of Tortor blocking the provincial road that connects Tortora and the marine fraction.
The fire brigade teams of the central command of Cosenza and of the detachments of Paola and Scalea with the support of mobile cranes have been working since yesterday evening to cope with the numerous requests for assistance and to restore normal safety conditions.
During the night, squads of firefighters were sent from the commands of Catanzaro, Crotone, ViboValentia, Naples and Caserta with earthmoving vehicles.
