Aleppo, SANA- In celebration of the anniversary of the October Liberation War, the Union of Plastic Artists in Aleppo organized an art exhibition in a hall

To celebrate the anniversary of the October Liberation War, the Union of Plastic Artists in Aleppo organized an art exhibition at Al-Assad Gallery for Fine Arts.

The exhibition included 40 paintings of different shapes, styles and topics for 20 participants and new members of the Union of Fine Artists in Aleppo, in which they embodied women in multiple cases, the innocence of childhood, silent nature, the old neighborhoods of Aleppo, and cases of suffering, pain, joy, sadness, loftiness, and pride in the history and heritage of Syria , and mollusk, using different raw materials and techniques.

In a statement to SANA reporter, Jaber Al-Sajur, Director of Culture in Aleppo, pointed out the importance of the exhibition because it sheds light on the work of young people, as a large part of them graduated from the Fathi Muhammad Center for Fine Arts, noting the great role played by the Ministry of Culture to support the artistic process in Aleppo.

Nouran Jabakji, head of the branch of the Union of Fine Artists in Aleppo, pointed out that the exhibition is a basic pillar to identify the most important and prominent youth experiences, noting that the number of participants is 20, and each artist participated in two works, and the exhibition will continue for a week.

The plastic artist Ibrahim Daoud indicated that the exhibition was held for the new non-graduate affiliates during the years 2021-2022, who are amateurs who used different methods that varied between realism, surrealism, and abstraction to embody different ideas and topics, pointing to the importance of the exhibition as it is an essential step for the artist's launch.

The plastic artist Roland Shammas indicated that he participated in two works, the first embodies the horse and symbolizes Arab originality and the nobility of Syrian history, and the second embodies the falcon to symbolize strength and loftiness, pointing out that he used the embossing technique to highlight the features with extreme accuracy.

The artist Haifa Filik explained that she participated in two paintings, in the first she embodied the nature of the village of Afrin, and in the second she embodied the creative woman using oil colors.

The young artist, Elian Fattal, indicated that her participation in the exhibition gives her strength and access to the experiences, ideas and works of others, as well as allowing her to benefit from the experience of plastic art professors in Aleppo.
