In turn, the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Dr. Abdul Mohsen Al-Sayed Omar, explained that the goal of the scientific day is to introduce students to the industries related to agriculture, including the ancient Aleppo soap industry, in order to achieve scientific and practical benefit for the participating students by following up the stages of production, which are being studied in the Department of Food Industries in the college to train these cadres. Practically, in order to be able in the future to actively participate in the production process.
SANA's camera followed the stages of soap production and manufacturing, where Hisham Jubaili, head of the Laurel Soap Industry Committee at the Chamber of Industry and the owner of the facility, talked about the old and inherited methods used in the manufacture of laurel soap, which begins during a specific period in the winter season and the production of olive oil that is used in the soap industry, noting the importance of cooperation With university students to put them in the practical way of soap production, as well as benefit from their scientific research to develop this industry.
