"Meet the Unicorn Market" was successfully held last Saturday and this Sunday (25th and 26th) at D2 Place, Lai Chi Kok. The school said that the event attracted more than 2,000 people.

In addition to market stalls, there were also many workshops and wonderful music performances produced by Metro students.

Guo Yuguang said that the fair stimulated students' interest in entrepreneurship and encouraged them not to limit themselves, "start small and move towards the goal of becoming a unicorn."

Metropolitan University said that there were more than 20 stalls run by metropolitan university students in the market for two consecutive days, and nearly half of the stall owners had participated in the "Creation Point". There is an award-winning project "Melt Cancer x Perfect Match", a communication platform for cancer patients, which launched handmade candles, and the sales proceeds will be used to organize lectures and workshops for cancer patients.

Other award-winning creative projects such as the "VisualArc" wearable scanning device solve the problem of dealing with a large amount of text information during meetings and classes for office workers and students. This project also won an award in the "2021 Cyberport Greater Bay Area Youth Entrepreneurship Program", Received HK$100,000 entrepreneurial seed fund.

Another project, "Solar Deodorizing and Sterilizing Environmentally Friendly Garbage Can Cover", can generate UVC ultraviolet rays and ozone for sterilization and disinfection, and is connected with an IoT module to provide environmental protection data and remote control functions.

Metropolitan University and Kangye Holdings signed a memorandum of cooperation for students to gain career development opportunities. Metropolitan University set up a digital art laboratory to experience immersive experience of ink painting and train art and technology talents. Metropolitan University awarded more than 7,000 degrees to graduates at the graduation ceremony. LiPACE holds "Higher Diploma in Applied Gerontology" to train talents for the aging population
