Rettenberg/Kranzegg - On the night of Easter Monday (April 10, 2023), a traditional restaurant in Kranzegg in Oberallgäu caught fire.

The cause of the fire is not yet known, the police are investigating.
"It is currently assumed that the fire broke out in the kitchen area, which was newly furnished in 2017," says the press release.
A randomly passing Oberallgäu discovered the fire.
He was able to warn the innkeeper couple in time.
Although both were injured, they managed to escape from the burning building.
They came to Immenstadt Hospital with severe smoke inhalation.
