To this end, a control operation in the visiting rooms of the Grasse remand center was launched on Wednesday, involving the police officers of the local police station, assisted by a canine unit.
In the presence of a public prosecutor and at the request of the public prosecutor, all visitors were thus inspected.
Among them, a woman was found carrying cannabis, which she had concealed in her underwear.

," said a police source.
A piece of 46.84 grams but also a SIM card and a cell phone charger cord were found.
In addition, the search of his visitor's locker revealed the presence of another piece of resin weighing just over 54 grams.
Placed in police custody, the respondent explained that she wanted to "
help the detainee
" whom she was visiting, the latter being a consumer of cannabis "
for a long time.
“At the end of her hearing, she was left free with a date for two legal appointments: an appearance on prior recognition of guilt (CRPC) and a collegiate hearing on summons by a judicial police officer (COPJ).
