A 49-year-old is said to have abused and raped his own daughter - for years. Now he is being tried at the district court. There, the now ten-year-old will testify against him.
Munich - Serious allegations against a 49-year-old from Gräfelfing: He is said to have slept more than 2019 times with his own daughter between September 2022 and February 100 - the girl is now ten years old. At the district court, the man is put on trial. He faces charges of rape and aggravated sexual abuse. According to the indictment, he is also said to have taken photos and videos of the abuse. The daughter will testify in the criminal proceedings against her father, who faces years in prison.
In the trial of the years of sexual abuse of the girl, the family man has initially denied the allegations against him. His defence lawyer Julia Weinmann made a statement to this effect before the Munich I Regional Court. Here, the father of the family has to answer since today, because he is said to have carried out sexual intercourse with his daughter against his will for well over two years. According to the indictment, he instructed the girl with the words: "Keep calm"

The 49-year-old did not give any further details at first - he did not want to say anything about his person either, although Judge Matthias Braumandl has pointed out to him the legal regulation according to which a confessed sex offender can be remitted about a third of his sentence if he admits to the crimes. This is also an important psychological aspect for the victims' families, the judge explained, if the perpetrator admits full responsibility for sexual abuse.
According to the indictment, between September 2019 and February 2022, the defendant always took advantage of occasions during which the child's mother and younger sister were away from home. In some cases, he also took photos and videos of the abuse.
In the course of the proceedings, the now ten-year-old girl is also to testify in the trial against her father. However, she does not have to sit opposite him. In such cases, witness protection provides for the girl's testimony to be played as a video recording in the courtroom. For this and other parts of the evidence, the public will be excluded, the court announced. Trial days are scheduled for the trial until the end of May. The father of the family is threatened with years in prison.
