Netflix will present in June a new documentary series that will tell the life of renowned actor and bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The production will be directed by Lesley Chilcott, a filmmaker who counts projects such as Waiting for Superman and Watson among her best-known works.
One of the first contacts that Schwarzenegger had with the producer of the red N was with the proposal of FUBAR, an action series that will take the actor back to the small screen.
What can be seen in the new documentary about Schwarzenegger?
Schwarzenegger in his role as the Terminator.
The documentary series, produced by Allen Hughes, will show Arnold Schwarzenegger's beginnings in the world of bodybuilding, his rise as an actor in the United States and his greatest peak of success with the Terminator saga. Also, the title will be like his name: Arnold.
But it will also show the dark past of his life, such as certain infidelities during his marriage, his father's Nazi past and other problems he had with his family.
The Predator actor had already referred to Nazism in his family during an interview with the American media CNN, when he commented on the political life of his father Gustav Schwarzenegger. "My father, and many millions of other men, were sucked into a system of hatred through lies and deceit," he said.
Schwarzenegger had a long and successful career in bodybuilding.
On the other hand, he will also discuss his life in marriage with Maria Shriver, niece of former President of the United States John F. Kennedy. They were married from 1986 until 2011, when they divorced after Schwarzenegger cheated on her with his former domestic worker.
The Netflix production will premiere on June 7 and will consist of three episodes, all narrated by the actor and bodybuilder.
