The protest against the legal reform will return this evening (Saturday night) after a lull in the large demonstrations. Last weekend it was decided not to hold mass events due to Operation Shield and Arrow in the Gaza Strip against Islamic Jihad. Now, the organizers will reconvene the main rally on Kaplan Street in Tel Aviv, which will focus on what they call "looting the public purse for the benefit of the government at the expense of the citizens." This is against the background of opposition to the Arnona Fund Law. Additional demonstrations will be held in Haifa, Jerusalem and other cities.
Among the speakers at the main demonstration in Kaplan, which will begin at 20:00: Shaul Meridor, a high-tech entrepreneur and former head of the Finance Ministry's budget department, author Sefi Rechlevsky, author of the book "The Donkey of the Messiah," and Tel Aviv Deputy Mayor Meital Lehavi. The weekly march will leave Dizengoff Square at 19:00.
