VIDEO - The host of "Don't Touch My Job" was keen to take a stand on Hamas' attack on Israel.

"I would always refuse to be friends with terrorists," Cyril Hanouna said on Monday, October 9, on the set of "Touche pas à mon poste". This statement comes in the context of the ongoing war in Israel. Indeed, since Saturday, October 7, the country has been the target of a surprise and unprecedented attack by Hamas. In three days, more than 700 Israelis were killed.

For the occasion, the usual troublemaker of the PAF wanted to dedicate an hour and a half of airtime to the conflict. He invited Yann Moix and Alain Bauer, a criminologist, to intervene exceptionally in the show. The C8 presenter also wanted to give his opinion, in person, on recent events.

"I will always be a Jew in my heart, in my blood. I will always have my Muslim friends with me. I will help them no matter what, as I have always done here," he stressed, before adding: "But I will always refuse to be friends with terrorists."

And if the reactions on social networks multiply - some supporting Israel, others Palestine - it is essentially the position of France Insoumise that the presenter of C8 wants to talk about.

'We must condemn the attacks'

"La France Insoumise is playing a very dangerous game. Let them seek the voice of Muslims, with pleasure and bravo to them. But if they go and get the votes of the terrorists, they will have to be held accountable at some point, and they will have to give them back very quickly," said Cyril Hanouna.

Indeed, the political party is accused by its critics of ejecting Hamas and the Israeli government. "The members of France Insoumise were the specialists of the "but". At the beginning there was not even a "but" because France Insoumise did not condemn these horrible attacks," the presenter charged. During his speech, the coordinator of the movement, Manuel Bompard, did not use the term "terrorist" with regard to the Palestinian Islamist movement, but referred to "war crimes" committed by both sides.

"I see Manuel Bompard - who later retracted with a tweet saying he wanted peace - but at the beginning there were complicated tweets," Baba said before pointing the finger at MP Louis Boyard, with whom he has a certain history. "He's a fool. He has more of a moustache than a brain," he says of his former columnist. To calm his rhetoric and put an end to all types of debates, Cyril Hanouna insists: "We must condemn the attacks that have been perpetrated [...] We need to be together, brought together."
