On Thursday, Attias published a post in which she shared her thoughts on motherhood and the good of the small family she established, while confronting her with a sense of mission and responsibility regarding the situation in Israel.

"Every day I think about whether I'm doing enough, if I'm doing the right thing," Attias wrote. "If I have to stay in Israel or go back to our home in Los Angeles. Every day I ask myself, 'What should a good mother do?' and I admit that I won't win the mother this year because I don't think enough about Lia.

"I feel privileged to think only of myself. I can't either. Because every time I meet another family of a kidnapped person, I feel the deep pain of a mother who needs the entire nation. She needs someone to hear her cry. And that's what I'm here for. And it's true that right now I'm not with Lia, but I hope she grows up and understands that Lia and I aren't alone either.
