Today, American airline Delta announced that it is canceling all its flights on routes to and from New York to Tel Aviv, until November 15 at this stage. In addition, the airline announced that all of its flights to and from Boston to Israel and Atlanta and from there to Israel are canceled until further notice.

Delta's announcement follows an announcement by American Airlines, which canceled all of its flights to and from Israel until December 4, and it is possible that the decisions of the two American airlines will be extended and it is unclear when they will return to Israel.
Another airline that routinely operates flights to and from Israel is United. The American airline has canceled all its flights to and from Israel until November 3 at this stage, and a decision is expected soon regarding the continuation of the airline's operations on routes between the US and Israel. The flight cancellations by foreign airlines coincide with the visa waiver that went into effect last weekend.

El Al is now the only airline operating direct flights on routes to the US, which are considered busy even during this period, despite a sharp and clear drop in demand for the vast majority of destinations around the world. Flights to New York are mostly full because many Israelis and Jews live in the United States, along with many businessmen who visit the line.
This means that at the moment the possibilities of coming to the US have been reduced to one, more or less. Stopover options are via Abu Dhabi with Etihad, which is less convenient as it is a flight east and then west. At the moment it is unclear when the foreign airlines will return to Israel and at this stage there are a few airlines flying to Israel, including Blue Bird, Fly Airways, Etihad, Fly Dubai, Red Wings and soon Ethiopian will also return.
