The demonstration in Caesarea was made possible after the police retracted the ban on holding the demonstration during the war. On Friday, the police announced that they would not allow the demonstration, but on Saturday the police issued the following statement: "Following various reports, the Israel Police sees the right to protest as a cornerstone of a democratic state. During the war, holding protests of any kind will be possible in accordance with the law and compliance with police conditions, and of course compliance with the gathering conditions set by the Home Front Command." Hadera police officers maintained order and prevented the demonstrators from going down to the road and blocking it.
