Within hours - second announcement of abductee who is not alive: Kibbutz Nahal Oz announced Wednesday evening that Tanzanian student Joshua Luito Mulal, who has been missing since October 7, was abducted to the Gaza Strip and murdered.

"We send our condolences to Joshua's family. His father is on his way to Israel and upon arrival he will be accompanied by representatives of the Foreign Ministry," the kibbutz said.

The Hotline for Refugees and Migrants said: "Joshua Luito Mullal, a young agricultural student of only 21 years old, arrived in Israel two weeks before 7.10. Joshua was working in a cowshed in Nahal Oz on the morning of the terrible massacre. This evening, his father, Loito, was informed that Joshua had been murdered and his body was being held by Hamas. His father's questions about the source of the information remain unanswered until now and he refuses to believe the bitter news. We share the pain of Loito and the entire Mullal family. We hope that the state authorities will provide Loito with an explanation of the source of the information. We will continue to accompany the Mulal family."

Earlier, a statement was issued from Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak that the family of 41-year-old Tal Haimi, who was defined as abducted, had been murdered by Hamas.
