On Wednesday morning, the IDF allowed the publication of the name of Staff Sergeant Ephraim Yachman, 21, from Neveh Daniel, a soldier in the Shaked Battalion, Givati Brigade, who fell last night in battle in the northern Gaza Strip.

Yechman was a student of Yeshivat Yeruham. Since the beginning of the war, the Seder Yeshiva has lost seven of its students and graduates who were killed.
Together with him, the IDF allowed the publication of the names of two other martyrs. Since the outbreak of the war on October 7, 498 IDF casualties have fallen, and since the beginning of the ground maneuver in the Gaza Strip on October 27, the number of fatalities stands at 164.
The date of his funeral has not yet been determined.
