Thousands came to the military cemetery in Netanya to accompany Capt. Harel Itach, a 22-year-old resident of the city, a team commander in the Givati Patrol. He was critically wounded in battle in Gaza and died of his wounds a week later.

On October 7, you fought in Nahal Oz - Team 40, Team Itach - you were very significant in the fighting. You were mortally wounded and two of your soldiers were killed. Some others are still injured in hospitals, some came here with the injuries to pay their last respects. The fighting continues - Harel, we will continue to fight until victory, I promise you, Harel, thank you for being part of us, your image will be with us forever."
