Championship title within reach: SG Aich wins top duel

The air rifle shooters of the SG Aich distanced themselves from their pursuers Gaimersheim and now held all the trumps in the BOL championship race.

– The return to the Oberbayernliga is within reach for the SG Aich: The leader of the table won what felt like the championship final in the air rifle district Oberliga against second-placed Gaimersheim with 1559:1556 and now has all the trumps in his hand.
In the last two competitions of the season, the class leader can actually only stop himself.
Aich shoots the second best result of the whole round
In the most important competition of the year, both clubs shot at a level that they could compete with two classes higher in the Bayernliga.
Aich came within two points of their own league season best of 1561 points and scored the second-best result of the entire round.
On the other hand, the team from Gaimersheim repeated their best performance from the first round with 1556 points: on October 6th they won with this result and 30 points ahead of Tüntenhausen.

In view of three individual results over 390 rings, the Aicher Schützen are ready for the Oberbayernliga.
Martina Tristl and Marie Schwerer were the leaders with 396 points each, followed by Florian Tristl with 391. Gaimersheim only broke the 390 mark once - and that was the deciding factor at the end of a great competition.
If you slip up, it's the ring cut that counts
With this victory, the SG Aich now has 12:4 points on the account, Gaimersheim, Tüntenhausen and Kösching each have six minus points.
The leader shouldn't have any major problems in the remaining competition against the winless bottom of the table Reichertshofen - and then there's the neighborhood duel against Tüntenhausen: If the SG lose as in the first match, they would be safe in front of Tüntenhausen and Kösching with the better ring section.
If there was a slip, there would be another duel between Aich (1546.38) and Gaimersheim (1544.75).
The second would have to catch up 13 points, which is not impossible.
But the SG has everything in hand and in the derby a champion match point.
