(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, 5 DEC - Tehran regime has killed more than a thousand people since the beginning of the protests. The US envoy to Iran, Brian Hook, who also spoke of "thousands of injured and arrested people" said it. "We cannot be certain of the numbers, because the regime blocks information," said Hook, who spoke of at least 7,000 demonstrators imprisoned by the Iranian authorities since the protests ended on November 15, after the announcement of a sharp increase in fuel prices in full economic crisis.
