"I come and say, from the very feminine, very maternal place: Stop it all for a second. Look at what's around you, your children, your sisters, your family, everything you have, yourself, and you'll understand that you're the best doctor of Trust your instincts, if something goes wrong - go check it out! " This is the unequivocal message from Mia Refaeli from Beit Shemesh that has been dealing with ovarian cancer in recent years.

Mia, like many other women, contacted a doctor with "normal" abdominal pain, and several times told her that she had nothing, maybe just a stomach bacterium. But she did not give up, and contacted doctors again, which is how she found out she had advanced cancer. "Realize I have a really huge cyst. Then I was analyzed and removed from my body," she says. "After two weeks, I was called from the hospital to go back for a review. The cyst that was inside the cyst was a cancerous ovarian cancer, which ranges from four to six weeks, and in the body. Mine was already active. " According to her, she received her life as a gift "in the clearest unimportant way".

She calls on women to be tested if they fear something is wrong with their bodies. "Today there is also a response to drugs that can delay the development of the disease," she says. "These drugs are life-saving and therefore their entry into the drug basket is very, very important."
