It's called Resso and the app for streaming music of Tik Tok, the emerging app that is taking the stage off Facebook, was launched in India and Indonesia. According to Bloomberg, who reported the news, Resso also shows the lyrics of the songs in real time and allows users to write comments under each song and make videos and Gifs with background music.
For now it is being tested in emerging countries and would have been downloaded by 27,000 users of the App Store and Google Play Store. The monthly pass is around 120 rupees, equal to $ 1.70. If it were to land in the West it would be a great challenge for Apple Music and Spotify, consolidated and much more expensive services (the second also includes a 'free' version with advertising).
"Resso is currently in beta testing - a company spokesman said in a note - We are optimistic about its long-term prospects, but we are still at the beginning and we are experimenting in a limited number of countries".
