The girl kidnapped on December 20 in Milan by her father, who had already kidnapped her three years ago and brought her to Syria, is well found.
The girl was tracked down by the men of the Milan mobile team and those of the Police Scip and is currently in a Danish police facility.
The girl was entrusted to the mother after the separation of the parents. Her father had taken her to school without the staff, perhaps uninformed, raising questions.
Two and a half years ago, when the little girl was nine years old, her father, with the excuse of taking her to an amusement park, had kidnapped her and taken her to Syria. At least twice he had promised to return to our country with the little girl, without doing so. On 29 November, the mother had been able to hug the little girl near the courthouse. This time Maher Balle had kept his promise: departing from Damascus and passing through Beirut and Frankfurt, he had arrived in Malpensa and throughout the trip he had been followed by the men of the Scip (Criminalpol International Police Cooperation Service) and the mobile team of Milan.
In court that day, an international child abduction trial was underway against man. The contacts between the public prosecutor and the defender of Balle for which, as established by the judge, a trial program had been activated were fundamental for the return of the Syrian and the little girl. On August 4, 2017, with the complicity of a friend, the man, with the little girl, had arrived not far from Damascus, where his family lived. Less than a month later, the mother had gone all the way to Jordan to try to convince her husband to return, but Balle had run away with his daughter. Repentance last November: he left with the child from the country of origin and arrived in Italy controlled by sight by the agents of the SCIP, fearing that he would change his mind.
Everything had gone well, until the new kidnapping.
