(ANSA) - TEHERAN, DECEMBER 23 - "Iran will not step back and is ready for any scenario, but calls on the European parties to the nuclear agreement to fully respect their commitments instead of threatening Iran". The spokesman for the government of Tehran, Ali Rabiei, said in reference to the threats of the EU partners of the 2015 agreement to use the mechanism inside the pact that could lead to new sanctions against the Islamic Republic in response to the reduction of its commitments on nuclear power. "If the United States does not take the first step to lift inhuman sanctions and negotiate with Iran, it will suffer further losses," added the spokesman, quoted by Irna.
