(ANSA) - ANKARA, JANUARY 2 - The vote of the Turkish parliament, meeting in extraordinary session, on sending men and means to Libya to fight alongside Fayezal-Sarraj against the forces of General Khalifa Haftar is expected today. The positive outcome appears obvious despite the opposition that have announced that they will vote against the law on the military operation. However, the date of the deployment of Turkish forces has not yet been decided. "We are ready, the army and the Ministry of Defense are ready," said Vice President Fuat Oktay explaining that the parliament's go-ahead is valid for one year.
