The author of "Consentement", the shock book of the new school year, was to participate this Wednesday evening in the Francois Busnel show on France 5

Vanessa Springora will not be at "la Grande Librairie", the literary program presented by François Busnel this Wednesday evening on France 5 at 8:50 p.m. According to our information, the author of "Consent, who was interviewed Tuesday evening by Yann Barthès on TMC, had to cancel his participation today even at the last minute after the death of his father.

Vanessa Springora should have been interviewed for 45 minutes all alone by François Busnel before being faced with three other guests: Jean-Pierre Rosenczveig, former president of the Bobigny children's court; Marie-Rose Moro, head of service at the Maison de Solène and Pierre Verdrager, sociologist.

She was invited for the story in which she tells the predatory grip of Gabriel Matzneff, writer accused of pedophilia, on her when she was between 13 and 15 years old, in the 1980s. In this autobiographical story, her father, who divorced her mother when the writer was 5 years old, is described as "a draft". Above all, Vanessa Springora recounts very specific scenes of violence between her mother and him, then with her, during her affair with Matzneff. Thus, the adolescent is hospitalized for joint disorders. When she has not seen him for a long time, he visits her at the hospital. When he learns that she is living a story with the writer, the father insults his daughter in a scene of anger which obliges a nurse to intervene, before disappearing from his life.

Released on January 2 at Grasset, "Le Consentement" is out of stock in many bookstores. First printed at 20,000 copies, it was reprinted at 45,000 copies.

It is ultimately Daniel Pennac who will be the guest of François Busnel for his novel "La loi du rêve" which has just been released by Gallimard. Recorded on Wednesday afternoon, the program should have been broadcast next week with also as guests: Manu Larcenet for his comic strip "Group therapy", Alexandre Postel for "Un Fall by Flaubert" and Perrine Ruby, neuroscience researcher.
