British actor Jeremy Irons will be the president of the Berlinale 2020 jury. The festival announced it through a note. The appointment of Irons was made by Carlo Chatrian, the new director of the Berlinale: "The iconic figures who played Jeremy Irons and his unmistakable style accompanied me on my journey in the cinema and put the complexity of human nature before my eyes.
