British writer Jay. Chi. Rowling made a profit of £ 86,317 a day this year, largely thanks to a steady sale of the Harry Potter book series, in their electronic format.

The data was published by Pottermore (-), the publishing, entertainment and e-commerce company, and is the sole publisher of the electronic content around the Harry Potter series.

Rowling's annual revenue, previously published as the first person to become a billionaire literary writer (according to Forbes), stood at £ 31.5 million this year (about $ 41 million).

The publishers' statement said that "Harry Potter books revenue this year has continued to rise above forecasts, following a very large sales wave of books on digital channels."

In terms of the distribution of countries where Rowling's library was sold, it was reported that £ 1 million came from sales in the UK, £ 5.4 million from sales in EU countries, and around £ 25 million came from other countries in the world.

The high strain of earnings from Rolling serves well the unique publishing staff (established only after the universal success of the book series). According to the financial report of the expense, the Puttermoor chief executive made £ 350,000 last year.

Rowling's total fortune is now estimated to be around £ 750m, thanks to its consistent best-selling revenue, Harry Potter-inspired film series, a play by West End in London and the sale of merchandise.

Gender storm on Twitter

Evidence of much of the series, 12 years after its last book was published, can be seen in initiatives that are popping up around it every few days. This week, for example, it was announced that BBC Warner Bros. Studios and the Natural History Museum in the United Kingdom are co-producing a documentary that will explore the connection between the fantastic creatures and animals in Rowling's works, and real animals that roamed the earth. The film will be screened by British actor and writer Stephen Fry.

Rowling published in 1997 the first book in the Harry Potter series, "Harry Potter and the Wise Stone." A first-edition book, signed by Rowling, was previously bought for one pound and sold this year for £ 2,300 at auction.

However, Rowling's great wealth has a public price, and all of her statements are immediately judged on networks. Last month, the author sparked a critical fire from many liberal bodies as she tweeted in her Twitter account: "Dress up however you like, call yourself how you choose ... But force women to leave their jobs because they declared sex to be an accomplished fact and a man cannot choose his gender?" .

Rowling's tweet came after the writer asked for support for a woman named Maya Forstater, who had to quit her job because she expressed herself on the subject.
