Facebook will change its look by spring, in the version for computers, and there will also be the 'dark mode' which will tire the eyes less. The social network is distributing its new desktop interface to a limited number of users, which will be available to everyone by spring. This was confirmed by the platform on the Cnet site. The news had been announced in April last, during the Facebook developer conference.
The new look, similar to that of the Facebook app for mobile devices, gives the social version on the computer a cleaner and tidier appearance. It also offers dark mode, which allows you to set a black background to less strain your eyes and save some battery. Dark mode has already been embraced by operating systems for computers and smartphones, and by numerous applications including Messenger and Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
The small percentage of users who have already received the new interface, connecting to Facebook from the computer, will see a message appear with the invitation to test "The new Facebook". You can then set the web version of the social network with white backgrounds and bright colors or with a dark background. The platform also allows, at least for now, to go back to the old interface.
