The "French Spider-Man" attacked this Monday morning the emblematic tower of Defense.

The climber Alain Robert, nicknamed the "French Spider-Man", climbed with his bare hands this Monday morning Total tour of the La Défense business district (Hauts-de-Seine). The objective of this new challenge? Defend the strikers who are currently protesting against the pension reform, according to AFP.

A little earlier, Alain Robert had posted an enigmatic video, showing him briefly in front of this iconic defense tower, "French Manhattan". "I have already climbed more than 160" tours of these "urban mountains", he writes again.

Last September, Alain Robert had been arrested in Frankfurt after having set his sights on the "Skyper", a building of 154 meters high and 42 storeys housing the Dekabank, which he climbed in half an hour. An ascent carried out, as usual, without safety equipment, solo, and without authorization.

In mid-August, this committed specialist in urban climbing had climbed along a Hong Kong skyscraper, before deploying a "peace banner", in the middle of a political crisis with almost daily demonstrations for demand more democracy.
