About 400 strikers gathered on Tuesday, January 14, at dawn, to occupy the waste sorting center of Ivry. The 400 employees and union activists oppose the pension reform and demand its withdrawal. They welded poles to the center gates to prevent the police from entering, after breaking through their roadblock. They threaten to no longer treat the waste of 1.5 million inhabitants by activating the continuous blockade of the Ivry incinerator.
