(ANSA) - ROME, JANUARY 16 - The platform for online shopping dedicated to Muslims debuts from Italy. The European multi-vendor portal reserved for 'halal' products - legally according to Islamic law - and for ethnic ones is online and is called deenary.com. A marketplace that recalls 'Amazon' in its structure and which aims to involve European 'halal consumers'.
Currently, it already has more than one thousand products on display, and week by week, the sales outlets and the products that can be found are also growing.
Italian by birth, promoted by Meem Communication, a consultancy firm on halal markets, deenary.com began selling online with the new year. Behind the small structure there are faces of young Italian Muslim entrepreneurs, while the products are divided into categories with greater concentration on women's clothing, halal cosmetics and ethnic foods from different parts of the world.
