(ANSA) - REGGIO CALABRIA, JAN 30 - "With this project we intend to launch a global challenge to the 'ndrangheta and all its joints and we will collect systematically information on their activities, at a time when it appears as the organization with the most organizational capacity, including cybernetic subase and IT ". Interpol general secretary Jurgen Stock said on the occasion of the press conference for the presentation, in Reggio Calabria, of the Ican project (Interpol Cooperation Against ndrangheta) funded by the Ministry of the Interior.
"We will do it - added Stock - using common platforms, artificial intelligence, building the entire mosaic of 'ndrangheta activities, especially recycling and investments in the legal economy". The meeting with journalists was attended by the prefect Vittorio Rizzi, deputy general manager of public security, and the prefect and the prosecutor of the Republic of Reggio Calabria, Massimo Mariani Giovanni Bombardieri.
