A woman was killed, after being beaten wildly, last night in Mazara del Vallo, in the Trapani area, in the house where she lived with her husband. The man was immediately taken to the police station and the Marsala prosecutor ordered his arrest for murder which must now be validated by the investigating magistrate. The victim is Rosalia Garofalo, 54 years old who lived together with her husband, Vincenzo Frasillo, 53 years old, in via Calipso. The woman had previously reported her husband for mistreatment.
Vincenzo Frasillo, 53, an unemployed man, according to what was ascertained by the agents of the Mazara del Vallo police station, allegedly slaughtered his wife for three days, until he died. The policemen intervened last night, around 8.30 pm, in the home of the two spouses, married for thirty years, after the man had called the doctors of 118, reporting the death of his wife, Rosalia Garofalo, 52 years old. The woman was found lying on the double bed, with severe signs of beating all over her body.
