A nursery where children were subjected to all kinds of mistreatment: beatings, food crushed in the mouth to make them eat, but also children left on an empty stomach. This is what would have happened, according to what emerged from the investigation conducted by the Public Prosecutor of Pavia, in a nursery school in San Martino Siccomario (Pavia).
The head of the facility and three operators (aged between 21 and 42 years) received the notification of the conclusion of the preliminary investigations.
In the event a child, who at the time of the facts was 2 years old and had speech disorders, was tied to a high chair and slapped on the lip, causing him to bleed and swell.
The act mentions the abuses that children should have endured (aged between 3 months and 3 years). The investigation revealed, among other things, that the manager of the structure ordered only half of the necessary meals, but had the full payment paid in the fees paid by the parents. Furthermore, insufficient hygiene is contested inside the nursery, with sheets and mats left dirty. The manager would order her employees to change diapers as little as possible, leaving the little ones dirty for hours.
