Who among us doesn't know Tinder? The dating / dating app has long become a useful tool for finding love, connection or casual sex. But it turns out that this app can not only find us a match or a match, but also save us in emergencies. This was revealed to her husband Lonia Hager, a professional skier, who went on a bold trip across Norway with two friends during which she was hit by harsh weather in heavy snow, which made the road they were unpalatable.
They were forced to stop their van in a hilly and frozen area. Lonia and her friends feared that their vehicle would slide down the icy, mountainous road or another vehicle would collide with them due to poor weather and visibility, but they couldn't move and they decided to sit and wait. Since they couldn't move the vehicle themselves, they decided to try to find someone who could help them. Since there was no mechanic within 200 miles of them and no friend or relative who could help, they decided to turn to the help of an app that allows you to locate the people closest to you - or just open Tinder.

The photo did her own and within five minutes she found a match with a local bearded guy named Stian Laultan. A screenshot of the conversation between the two shows how Lonia explains that she is stuck and the local guy offers his help.
Destiny and Stian happened to be also a construction worker and had a big bulldozer. Minutes after the conversation between the two, Stephen arrived with his bulldozer and managed to make his way through the ice, allowing Lunia and her friends to keep moving. Maybe Steen didn't get the date he was hoping for, but his rescue mission will be remembered for many more years

The picture to our Tinder rescue? (Scroll down to my last post to get to know the story before) While sitting in our camper with the fear that every second the car could slide down the mountain or a car could crash into our camper due to the slippery road, Phil had the weird but actually genius idea to create a tinder account with me and this fluffy cutie? Literally 5 minutes later I had a match with @stianlauluten? Another 5 minutes later he came up with his Bulldozer and shaped lines in the ice ❄️ We followed him to the next parking slot and the day after our hero organized tires with spikes! (There wasn't a mechanic closer than 200km) Now we can continue our road trip to the Lofoten? Thank you so much for your help @stianlauluten? . ? @flash_bros_ @kerkamm_campers @hymer @ life.of.kurt #snow #norway #roadtrip #tinder @tinder #dog #husky

Lonia after the rescue

Here is the complete true story of my unusual @tinder match ➡️ Everything started with a road trip to the Northern Cape in Norway with @flash_bros_ and a camper. When we drove down it started to rain. 10 minutes later the rain was frozen and the street was horrible slippery. We tried to slow down the camper as we were going downhill, but it slipped forward. On the left side ocean, on the right big rocks. After about 100 m we managed to stop the car in the middle of the road. We had no clue what to do. We called lots of emergency numbers, but no one could help us. Then Phil had the genius idea, to use my Tinder account to ask local people for help. Literally after 5 minutes I got a match with @stianlauluten and he was just 3 km away. He texted me and I explained to him my situation. Immediately he asked if he could help us. Another 5 minutes and he stood next to me! Stian also confirmed that it is impossible to go on like this, so he decided to drive down and come up with his Bulldozer. He scratched the ice up so we could follow him. When we reached the valley, he offered us to camp in the parking area of his work. The next day he called his friends, who are working in the next garage (200km away). They drove up and mounted us tires with spikes. . I am amazed @tinder can be so helpful! ?? Tell me about your best Tinder experience !?
