Usa 2020: Bloomberg, new taxes on the rich

(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, FEBRUARY 1 - A $ 5,000 billion tax increase for the wealthy and large corporations. It is the plan of Michael Bloomberg, the former Mayor of New York candidate for the White House. The initiative provides for the elimination of Donald Trump's tax cut and an increase in capital gains tax for Americans who earn over a million dollars a year. Although this is an ambitious plan, the Bloomberg initiative does not provide for any maxi tax on the rich similar to that for which rivals Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren push. According to Bloomberg staff, a similar tax could in fact be considered unconstitutional, also shared by many progressive legal experts.
