A young 22-year-old from Cordoba reported that his cell phone exploded while he was sleeping and that the battery fluid was impregnated in his body and caused several burns from his armpits to his legs. After his painful testimony, he left a recommendation: "You don't have to sleep with your cell phone on top, you don't know what can happen."
Last Thursday night, Catriel Gómez had dated her friends. After that, he returned home at dawn and fell asleep with his cell phone in his hand. He put it to load and suddenly it exploded. "I woke up in flames," he said.
His sister, who was in the same room, realized what was happening and helped him immediately. The two ran to the bathroom and put out the flames with tap water.
He was immediately taken to the hospital, where they managed to remove the substance that had been impregnated. "It was impressive what burned me. I had blisters from my legs to my armpits," said the young man, in dialogue with El Doce.
