Somalia has declared a state of emergency to deal with the invasion of locusts into the country. This was announced by the Ministry of Agriculture of Mogadishu.
The invasion threatens the entire Horn of Africa, and according to experts, it is due to the meteorological changes associated with climate change. Somalia, exhausted by years of conflict, is the first country in the region to declare a state of emergency.
