Animal Crossing: New Horizons - Nintendo's one-island politics disappoint fans

Nintendo has released new details about Animal Crossing: New Horizons online mode. However, fans are annoyed by the decision.

Apart from triple-A games like "Call of Duty", "Assassin's Creed" or "FIFA", there are also less action-packed games that invite you to slow down. One of them is "Animal Crossing: New Horizons". The game will be released on March 20, 2020 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. Now there is first information about the online mode - and not everything will please the fans.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons - only one island per Nintendo Switch

Animal Crossing: New Horizons * players must be aware that they can only play on one island on their Nintendo Switch. If you share the console with several people, you can only play on the island that the first account created. This decision is not entirely new. For the first time at E3 2019, Nintendo also mentioned that several islands are not supported.

So far, fans still had hope that Nintendo would change their minds until the release of "Animal Crossing: New Horizons" . There is a small print on the Nintendo game website that says, "A Nintendo Switch console and a copy of the game are required for each island."
