2020-02-07T16:34:46.026Z

The 'Nerd Show' returns to the Bologna exhibition center, an event that combines pop culture, comics, gaming and entertainment in a spectacular and interactive way: over 150 appointments scheduled for February 8 and 9, with 70 hours of shows and talk shows. Among the protagonists Giovanni Muciaccia, historical face of the transmission 'Art attack', Giorgio Vanni, the famous male voice of the cartoon characters, and Andrea Lorenzon, creator of Cartoni morti, channel dedicated to animated short films with more than one million subscribers. Then space for nerdy culture in 'vintage sauce' with the retrogaming area, where the older ones will relive their adolescence taking advantage of many retro consuls, showing their children the videogames they loved at their age. As for comics, 150 authors are expected: the program also includes a sketch area where you can meet the cartoonists and ask them for an exclusive drawing. Guest among others is Bruce Morris, screenwriter of animated films such as La Sirenetta and Pocahontas. As always, the world of cosplayers will play an important role, a real art that sees simple enthusiasts and authentic professionals interpret the characters of cartoons, films or TV series, imitating their movements and wearing their clothes. Nerd Show will be a stage of the National Cosplay Championship and will host the twenty year old Brazilian Fe Galvao, the most clicked cosplayer on the web, who thanks to her extraordinary photogenicity has an average of more than 250 thousand likes per post on Instagram. The ideal theater for the best photos of the cosplayers, the brand new science fiction area will finally allow all visitors to immerse themselves in the settings of films and TV series that have made the history of nerd culture, between imaginary characters and fantastic places imprinted in the collective memory of entire generations . Finally, for comic book fans, Nerd Show 2020 presents the largest Artist alley in Italy, an area where fans can interact directly with more than 150 masters of comics, from the Italians Tanino Liberatore and Mirka Andolfo to the American David Mack and the Russian Otto Schmidt. The Workshop stage, the themed conferences, the scouting room for young talents and the stands of the big publishing houses - including Panini, Bonelli and Star Comics - complete a first-rate comic book offer, capable of making the happiness of all fans.
