(ANSA) - VATICAN CITY, FEBRUARY 7 - "I wish to pay homage to the teachers, always poorly paid, because they continue with courage and determination" in the educational "challenge". The Pope stressed this in the audience with the participants in the workshops on the theme 'Education: the global compact', organized by the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences. "They are the 'craftsmen' of future generations. With their knowledge, patience and dedication they are transmitting a way of being that turns into wealth, not material, but immaterial, they are creating the man and woman of tomorrow. This is a great responsibility" said the pontiff.
