The program will follow the "international crusade" in favor of the ecology of the 17-year-old girl, according to her meetings with leading scientists and political leaders. He will also "retrace his journey to adulthood".
In addition, the TV series "will share some moments of tranquility during which it writes its hard-hitting speeches, now broadcast and analyzed worldwide," adds BBC Studios.
"Climate change is probably the most important issue in our lives," said BBC Studios executive producer Rob Liddell. "It therefore seems appropriate to produce a series that explores the scientific facts behind this complex subject".
"To be able to do it with Greta is an extraordinary privilege," added the producer, who is delighted to see "from the inside what it is to be a global icon and one of the faces most famous on the planet. " The title and number of episodes have not yet been defined, nor the date of broadcast of the series.
