The Parisian festival will host the only French concert in 2020 of the American group, on September 1.

Rage Against The Machine is worth it. Rock en Seine had granted the American group a special day, a Thursday, for their reformation in 2008. Twelve years later, it will be a Tuesday, September 1 at the Parc national de Saint-Cloud (Hauts-de-Seine). The Parisian festival, which will start on August 29 and 30, has clearly done its utmost to host the only French concert in 2020 of the hardcore rap band, whose last album dates back to 2000 and the last concert in 2011.

Hellfest has done everything to have them in June, but agenda requires, it is Rock en Seine which can boast of announcing this Monday evening the return to France of the leader Zack de la Rocha, the guitarist Tom Morello and their accomplices , whose new tour will begin at the California Coachella Festival in April. Since 1991 and their first album punch, with the protesting hymns "Killing In The Name" and "Bullet In The Head", the group separates and is reformed according to the projects of its members but also its political positions .

Like the 30,000 spectators who attended their huge concert in 2008 in Saint-Cloud, ticket holders for September 1 will only be entitled to the big stage, but Rage Against The Machine will perform there after several groups renowned, such as their friends from Run The Jewels, a duo formed by hip-hop producer El-P and rapper Killer Mike.

For this special day, as for the three-day festival pass, the ticket office will open this Tuesday to Rock en Seine newsletter subscribers and this Wednesday to the general public. The ticket for the Rage Against The Machine day is 49 euros for first-time buyers, the first three-day pass is 178 euros. The bulk of the Rock en Seine poster could be unveiled in March. And the full program in June. This 18th edition will focus on the body and the slogan "Rock your body!" "
