(ANSA) - GENOA, FEBRUARY 13 - At 14.05, the first maxi beam of the new viaduct on the Polcevera arrived at peaks 8 and 9. The launching operation, carried out by PerGenova's technical workers, and carried out thanks to the use of powerful hydraulic jacks called strand jacks, led to 40 meters in height, 2,000 tons of steel. It was the first 'launch' on site of one of the three maxi beams of 100 meters. Now half of the bridge is mounted and visible, 500 on the planned 1.067 meters, already consecutive 350 meters on the west side.
