With its concrete cubes and steel beams, the Berlin district of Potsdamerplatz will benefit from additional entertainment during the ten days of its film festival. But it is the entire German capital, both austere and vibrant, with twenty rooms selected for the event which will marry, from Thursday until March 1, the rhythm of the competition. Berlin and its golden bears are not Venice or Cannes.
