Model bar Sommer walked in last night on display by international designer Philip Plain as part of the Milan Fashion Week which is currently underway. Sommer was wearing a short black mini dress that included a rhyme of gems and sequins combined with lace at the top of the dress.

"It was really exciting. The exhibition itself was at the biggest and most important exhibition and convention center in Milan, but a giant that required a long walk, about nine minutes in front of about 3,000 spectators," she tells Israel Today.

Sommer, represented at Elite model Israel, was selected for display by the designer himself who saw her pictures. "The agency in Israel received an email asking me to participate in the show. They told me about the concept of the show and even told me they had been following me for a long time on Instagram. Plain chose to show top models who starred on Instagram, and I was one of them."

Sommer notes that shortly after landing in Milan, she went to see the dress she would wear and made recent measurements for her. "Everything is very professional and high-level. In rehearsals, Philip Plain himself taught me to walk on the track and it was very exciting. Until I got to Milan for the survey stage I didn't believe it was really happening."

Feet trembling?

"It is definitely an amazing, exciting and very stressful experience and I am glad I managed it successfully. It is a huge achievement for me to know that I have personally chosen myself alongside all the great models of the world. It is a great honor for me to take part in fashion week and step for one of the biggest companies in the world."

Is there any appetite for more?

"No doubt, I'd love to take part in more such shows. For the first time, I realized what it felt like to walk really, which leaves a taste for more."
