(ANSA) - NAPLES, FEBRUARY 23 - The prefect of Naples, Marco Valentini, has canceled the order signed this afternoon by the mayors of the municipalities of the island of Ischia to block the disembarkation of tourists from Lombardy and Veneto. Valentinis underlines "the illegitimacy profiles found in the ordinance, unjustifiably restrictive towards a large group of the national population and not in line with the measures adopted by the Government up to now". The prefect announces that he has foreseen that the forces of the order will have "identifications in the port area of citizens from the regions of Lombardy and Veneto and directed to the island of Ischia to ascertain the possible residence of the same in the municipalities of these regions, already identified by the Health Authority, in which there is a cluster of COVID-19 virus infection ".
